Hi, I’m Conny,

passionate cook, baker, photographer and author of Connys Soul Food.

I share my recipes, tips and tricks for cooking and baking with you here to make your everyday life in the kitchen easier.

Are you looking for recipes, gift ideas from the kitchen and kitchen tips? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Let me inspire you and sweeten your life with a pinch of humor.

Come along, grab a coffee or tea and take a look behind the scenes.

I founded Connys Soul Food in 2020 (back then as food for the soul) to share simple, quick and creative recipes for the whole family with other foodies and amateur cooks.

As well as quick recipes for every day, you’ll also find some extra treats that I try out just for fun.

Most of the recipes I cook or bake are uncomplicated and minimalist dishes, because I’m pretty sure there are others like me who look at an 18-line list of ingredients and immediately close the page again. I simply don’t have time for that!

The most important thing for me is that my food is made to share with the people I love and that they like the food I give them.

I would be delighted if you would join me on my journey through my kitchen!

I promise to give you an honest insight into my cooking, and will also cook vegetables to balance out the amount of flour and sugar you will inevitably find here.

…I am passionate and often creative.

Whether it’s a baby toy, bagpack or laptop cover – I use my sewing machine to realize many projects.

Photography – especially for this blog – has become my No. 1 hobby. This includes taking photos as well as editing them. You can get so much out of every single image!

I also like to get the tools out of the cellar and work on this or that DIY project.

…you can now often find me in Denmark.

After countless trips through Europe, North America, Australia, Africa and the Caribbean, I discovered my love for Denmark.

I love the nature of the country, the happiness of the people, their relaxed and balanced nature. The locals work to live and don’t live to work.

The waters of the Baltic or North Sea can be reached from almost anywhere within an hour and what could be better than a bike ride along the coast or putting your feet in the soft, light sand on the beach.
